  • Bank of China  offers loans up to 80% of tuition and expenses up to a maximum of US $40,000 at the current Bank of China interest rate, for a duration of six years.
 

Hong Kong

  • Sir Edward Youde  Memorial Fellowships for Overseas Studies Successful candidates for the awards are expected to have a strong sense of commitment to Hong Kong and be ready to contribute significantly to the community upon return from their overseas studies.   • Consulate General of France  in Hong Kong offers the Alexandre Yersin Scholarship to Hong Kong and Macau Applicants for MBA studies in France. An age limit applies. Students having double citizenship including French, and students already in France are excluded. HEC offers a scholarship to students who take part in our double degree program with Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Applicants have to be born after 31 December 1975. Students having the double citizenship, including French and students already in France are excluded This scholarship programme will be handled in France by EGIDE. The scholarship includes: €909 allowance per month, directly given to the applicant by EGIDE, Social welfare, public liability and repatriation insurance, Accommodation help (EGIDE offers services to help students to find accommodation), Social and cultural activities guide. The scholarship does not include: International airfare between Hong Kong/Macao and France as well as the  travel costs within France, Registration and tuition fees. Completed form should be submitted to the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong. Korea 

  • Europe Korea Foundation  Scholarship Programme English language Test results must not be older than two years. TOEFL - minimum score: paper-based 550, computer-based 213. IELTS - minimum score: 6.0 academic versions. We also accept the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in the English Language. If you have obtained your degree from an institution or programme in which English has been the language of instruction, please include this information with your application form. Other languages: Applicants planning to study in a language other than English need to provide a language proficiency certificate for the language they would like to study in. The score needs to be sufficient to be accepted by the university of choice. The EKF scholarship provides either financial aid for living expenses for a period of one academic year (10 months) at a European university (exception: BMW Scholarship) or tuition fee discounts, which have been arranged with EKF partner universities or UKEO partners. Furthermore, the scholarship covers the airline ticket to and from the European university. Return flights are only covered, if students return within 12 months of their departure. Scholarships

  • The French Embassy  in India offers scholarships for high-potential Indian participants. To be eligible, candidates must be no more than 30 years old. Applications should be submitted directly to the French Embassy no later than May for entry in September and October for entry in January.
  • Incentive Scholarships Program / Embassy of France:  quality of professional project and profile of the applicant, past academic records Age limit 30. Graduate students regularly enrolled in an academic institution providing higher education in France in all disciplines. The “incentives” support can be air flight tickets, or monthly allowances with health insurance for living expenses. The allocation of the living expenses grant is variable depending on the quality and level of the student's project. The living expense grant starts at 615 Euros a month and may be higher.   • Inlaks Foundation : It is essential to have prior admission to the institution and course chosen. The Foundation will not consider candidates without admission or pending admission. The institutions concerned must only be top rank. Candidates must be below 30 years of age on the first of July in the year of application. Scholarships are open to all Indian citizens of either sex who hold a good degree from a recognised university and are resident in India at the time of application. Preference will be given to candidates who have not yet studied abroad. Candidates who are already studying or have started their program abroad are not eligible. The award of other grants, teaching assistantships and support from other sources for the proposed programme will be regarded by the Foundation as a positive factor. The Foundation also encourages applications from young people currently employed.  Application forms are available from Inlaks Foundation, P.O. Box 2108, Delhi - 110 007. They must be completed by the Candidate and submitted at the same address.
  • JN Tata Scholarship : Special consideration is given to underprivileged students, especially from the rural areas. Candidates are expected to have applied for admission to Universities after when they apply for the Loan Scholarship. They may be interviewed before the admission comes through but, their final selection is subject to their securing admission. Applicants should be graduates with an academic record of conspicuous distinction from an Indian University of recognised standing. Those who are in the final year of the degree course are also eligible. However, their selection will be conditional to a good performance at the final degree examination. Academics and Professionals in Medicine, Law and other fields as well as Officers of the I.A.S. and other Executives, with creditable academic records, going abroad for specialised qualifications, may also apply. The Director, J.N.   • KC Mahindra Scholarship:  Applicants must possess a First Class degree or an equivalent diploma of the same standard from a recognised Indian University. They must have secured admission or at least have applied for admission in reputable foreign Universities for courses commencing from September but not later than February. Candidates studying in the final year of the degree or diploma courses are also eligible to apply provided they produce their final year Certificate before end June. Government and Quasi Government Officers with a creditable academic record, going abroad for specialised qualifications are also eligible to apply. Indian Nationals for Higher Education abroad in various fields for advanced studies in Engineering, Natural Science, Humanities, Medicine & Business Management including the study of Military, Naval and Aviation Sciences. The maximum amount of scholarship payable to any scholar shall not exceed Rs. 70,000.  Preliminary applications should be forwarded to the Managing Trustee K.C.   • B.D. Bangur Endowment Educational Scholarships:  Graduates between 19 to 30 years.   • Government of India Ministry of Welfare: 18 travel grants to candidates who already have a scholarship or loan which does not include travel costs. Applicants should possess a Master's or an equivalent degree in the Arts or Science subjects and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical or Medical subjects.   • National Overseas Scholarships India:  60 scholarships will be awarded in subjects for which suitable facilities are not available in India. Preference will be given for Automation and Robotics, Laser Technology, Naval Architecture/ Offshore Structures, Paper Technology, Printing Technology, Reliability Engineering The scholarships are awarded to candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, De-notified Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes.   • The Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship Program:  Age Limit 30 years. Students with an excellent academic background and having achieved distinction as all-rounders and having shown excellence in other co-curricular activities are encouraged to apply. Students should have already applied for admission to the university / Institution of their choice. In case of overseas study, only those students seeking admission during Fall semester (June-October) or equivalent will be considered.   • Vidyasagar -- Canara Bank Educational Loan Scheme India:  Students satisfying DRI norms (irrespective of quantum of loan) have a lower interest rate than others. Above Rs. 7.50 lacs up to Rs. 15 lacs (studies abroad): 9.50%. 0.50% concession in ROI for prompt servicing of interest during study period.  Reduction of 1% for all courses in all slabs/ category for girl students.
  • State Bank of Travancore Educational Loans India:  1. Up to Rs.4 lacs: 11%.  2.  Above Rs. 4 lacs: 12% State Bank of Travancore

The following banks offer loans for study abroad, normally based on the prime lending rate and repayable within 5-7 years: Bank of India, Syndicate Bank, Bank of Punjab, Indian Bank, HSBC India, Bank of Maharashtra, Allahabad Bank, and University Grants Commission India.

  • J.N. Tata Endowment:  Several disciplines. Low-interest loans of Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 2 lakhs, and grant of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 50,000.   • Bank of Baroda:  for Indian Nationals who have secured admission to Professional/Technical Courses at foreign Universities/ Institutions. Students going abroad for Professional/Technical studies. Coverage of expenses: admission/tuition fees to college/university, hostel/mess charges, examination/ library/laboratory fee, purchase of books/equipments/ instruments/uniforms, caution deposit/building fund/ refundable deposit supported by institution bills/receipts, one way travel expenses, purchase of computers if essential for completion of the course, any other expense required to complete the course. Maximum amount of loan: Rs. 15 Lacs, margin: 15%.  Rates of Interest: Up to Rs.4.00 lacs - BPLR with montly rests, Above Rs. 4.00 lacs: BPLR +1.00% with montly rests.  Repayment period: the loan is repayable in 5 years after the course year or 6 months after getting a job. For further details, please contact the Bank of Baroda Branch nearest to you.

    SAF Scholarship There are only few outstanding candidates each year. Must Be male Singapore citizens or Singapore permanent residents who will eventually take up the Singapore citizenship before their departure for studies. Have strong leadership qualities and potential; Have a good Co-Curricular Activities record; Offer GCE 'A' levels*, Polytechnic diploma or equivalent qualifications e.g. International Baccalaureate; Qualify for and excel in Officer Cadet School. Possess a strong interest in a career with the Singapore Armed Forces.
  • Overseas Merit Scholarship: Must be Singapore citizens or Singapore permanent residents who will eventually take up the Singapore citizenship before their departure for studies; Have strong leadership qualities and potential; Have a good Co-Curricular Activities record; Offer GCE 'A' levels*, Polytechnic diploma or equivalent qualifications e.g. International Baccalaureate; Have a strong interest in a career in public adminstration.
  • Tan Kah Kee Postgraduate Scholarship : Candidates are appraised on their academic achievements, outstanding personal character and bilingual capabilities.  Singapore citizens and permanent residents who are pursuing full-time Master degree or PhD in any discipline. Awarded annually and is bond-free.  Scholarship amount for those studying in overseas or local universities are 10,000 and 7,000 Singapore dollars respectively.   • HSBC Singapore  Singaporean nationals who are unable, due to regulation, to take up the International banking offer. HSBC Singapore also helps international students who require local banking facilities.
 

Indonesia

  • Sampoerna Foundation  Overseas MBA Scholarship -- Ambassade de France en Indonésie. Offers two scholarships to Indonesian citizens. Must have a minimum of two-year full-time professional work experience after the completion of their undergraduate degree. Have valid proof (validity of two years) of: International TOEFL with a minimum score of 600 (paper based) or 250 (computer based), or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) of minimum 6.5 (for MBA Australia only), or Institutional TOEFL with a minimum score of 610.* Have valid proof (validity of five years): GMAT test scores above 600 with verbal score to be 25 or above, or TPA with a minimum score of 650.* Not currently enrolled in graduate or post-graduate program or school, or has already obtained a Master's degree or equivalent. Not enrolled or graduated from an overseas tertiary institution, unless was on a full scholarship. Not in receipt of other equivalent award or scholarship offering similar or other benefits at the time of the award. Demonstrate they are from financially disadvantaged family and that without the scholarship he or she would not be able to study for an overseas MBA program. Hold a Bachelor degree in any discipline from an Indonesian tertiary institution with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.25 (on a 4.00 scale) Under 35 years old.
