Latin America

• Alßan programme of EU funded scholarships: specifically targets students from Latin America wishing to complete their academic or professional education in Europe. Candidates must have completed minimum university qualifications and be supported for their education project by a Higher Education Institution from the home country. All periods of study/work that occur outside the EU will not be covered by the scholarship. Citizens from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela who want to develop postgraduate studies, professional training or upgrading, in any of the EU Member States. Maximum € 1,500 per month. Duration from six-to-24 months. The application should be submitted using the relevant electronic application form available from the Portal Alßan . Applications may also be sent on paper by mail though the Programme Alßan prefers the submission of on-line applications.

• COLFUTURO  (Fundacion para el Futuro de Colombia) is a privately funded foundation which makes loans available for overseas management study. HEC will provide a matching scholarship of €5,000 to two Colombians per year who have received a scholarship from COLFUTURO.

ICETEX is a national organization that offers international scholarships to Colombian students pursuing education opportunities abroad. Non-refundable financial aid intended to cover, in part or in full, educational expenses abroad. The scholarship offers partial or full tuition scholarships. At the same time, ICETEX grants a loan to the student up to a certain amount to cover other living expenses.

Mexico

• Fundacion Mexicana  Para La Educacion, La Tecnologia y La Cienca (FUNED), a private foundation, makes below-market loans available for MBA studies. FUNED and the HEC MBA Program have a joint financing scheme, where FUNED finances up to 40% of the MBA, and the HEC MBA matches this financing with a scholarship. • Banco de Credito del Perú  (BCP) offers a loan opportunity to qualified Peruvian admitted candidates seeking to undertake the HEC MBA Program covering up to $50,000 of their tuition and living expenses.
