The alumni network at HEC consists of over 43,000, 4000 of which are MBAs. Alumni are available on an ongoing basis to participants, and the network is set up so that they can easily contact alumni that are particularly relevant to post-MBA career goals.
Here are some of the specific ways in which the CMC engages alumni:
Mentor Program through the HEC Alumni Association
This is a service offered by the Association in which participants can utilize the expertise of an alumnus in their specific area of interest. Alumni are available on an ongoing basis during the program and beyond for career related advice, from feedback on approach through to relevant contacts in the field.

Practice interviews
Interviewing is the key element in the job search process. In addition to the opportunities offered by the CMC – peer interviewing, practice interviewing in groups led by Team members or outside experts in specific fields such as consulting, marketing and so on – MBA alumni are available for practice interviews in various scenarios such as on-campus on one-to-one or group basis, interviews at their places of work (often in a multiple-interviewer format).

Personal Career Project workshops
Each participant is engaged in his/her personal career project, which is developed together with the CMC Team through the Program. The PCP workshops enable participants to get feedback and advice from alumni in their respective fields. In addition, alumni give advice on how to prepare and framework the Career Paper, which explains career objective and outlines strategy for getting to that goal.

Volunteer MBA alumni from target functions or sectors give professional feedback on Career Papers. This document is a personal statement written by participants about their post MBA career moves.
