Approach
The individual approach is at the core of what we do; we believe that everyone has their own pace, and therefore the services are based around the concept of maximizing the effectiveness in terms of focus and time input. So what we offer is designed along three lines:
| These activties are central to the job search during the MBA; maximizing participants chances of success in post-MBA careers. They include the self-assessment process, (CareerLeader tool and Career Paper), CV and interview training, training on networking, job search strategies and personal branding. It also encompasses sessions on careers in MBA-focused sectors and functions, company presentations, fairs and forums. |
| |
| This depends on the post-MBA target(s) and is driven by MBA clubs activities, alumni presentations, sector-specific information sessions, CV advice and interview training, as well as the concept of working groups. |
| |
| Each participant utilizes the individual advice and support that they receive from the CMC Team, incorporating the “three-step” Program. It also includes career and personal development coaching and mentoring, practice interview sessions, and ongoing one-on-one advice. In addition, we promote the concept of peer review. Peer review and assessment are central to all aspects of the HEC MBA Program, and not just the activities of the CMC. Therefore, we base many of our core activities around the concept – participants give ongoing advice and feedback to each other in areas such as networking, CV writing, and interviewing. The Executive Committee (TEC) On-Campus Program is one of the most rewarding and applicable career development experiences offered to HEC MBA participants. Its purpose is to help guide participants in your career, business and personal life issues. Introduced to HEC MBA by Gary Brinderson in 2003, TEC is open to 12 selected participants. The program requires six group meetings and up to six one-to-one meetings with the chairman, Bernard Bismuth. The program is designed to assist participants in defining their personal and professional growth objectives. The TEC On-Campus Program is the student version of the executive development TEC Program, which has provided business leadership to over 14,000 CEO members worldwide since its inception in 1968. |
