Outreach
In addition to providing participants with the skills and tools to make their own career choices and to be actors in their own professional development, the MBA Career Management Center promotes the Program and participants.
We are constantly deepening and developing our existing relationships and cultivating new ones to promote HEC MBA to the corporate market in France and abroad. The MBA recruitment market is constantly changing and our outreach activities reflect this – we go where the jobs are! Our job is to source the best job opportunities and to build longer-term relationships based on common objectives and mutual trust.

The key driver in our outreach is the Corporate Development (CDM) Team. In addition to their role in promoting the HEC MBA to the corporate market and sourcing job opportunities, the CDM Team offers:
- Sector-specific expertise in areas such as Consulting, Finance and Industry (Luxury, Renewables etc).
- Individual advice on their specific area of expertise , in addition to the advice and feedback given on your career approach and direction throughout the Program.
- Close cooperation with Clubs. The Club structure drives much of what we do, and the CDM Team is closely involved in ensuring that the clubs have maximum impact both internally and externally. The Team also takes on the role of providing continuity to the clubs from intake to intake.
- Partner on treks. Treks are either geographic, functional (e.g. financial services in London) or company specific, and are a prime way in which students gain access to companies both for informational and job purposes, as well as promoting the HEC MBA Program as a whole. In 2008-2009 over 400 companies were visited worldwide.
