MBA Tournament

More than a sporting event, MBAT represents the largest annual gathering of international business-school students and unites over 1,500 participants in a four-day team-building competition. In 2010, MBA participants will compete in 21 different sports, both individual and team, ranging from rugby to salsa dancing.

"For the past 20 years, the MBAT (MBA Tournament) has been a cornerstone of the HEC-Paris MBA experience. Typically held over 4 days in May, the MBAT gathers over 1500 participants from Europe's top business schools to compete in more than 20 athletic events. Fully organized and run by students, the MBAT is a great leadership and team building experience encompassing all functional areas of business. The participation of all 200 HEC-Paris MBA students in the planning and hosting of the MBAT makes this a unique project. Two decades later, the MBAT still continues to be one of the most memorable events in the international MBA calender."
Dan Harrison & Anne-Reine Lapeyre, General MBAT Coordinators

The MBAT, where more than 70 nationalities are represented, brings together tomorrow's business leaders in a challenging international setting that fosters the spirit of teamwork and fair play. Offering plenty of opportunities for networking and multicultural exchange and capturing the attention of media and companies worldwide, the MBAT is the premier location to find today's outstanding business talents, in a fun environment.

“The MBA Tournament is an opportunity for all participants and the HEC MBAs, in particular those of the organizing team, to test their leadership skills, adaptive capacity, and team spirit in real time. We look forward to welcoming all MBA participants to our campus. The dynamic nature of this event is reinforced by the diversity of the sport competitions. Soon, these same individuals will be competing for jobs, but they will be better prepared, having formed new relationships here and having honed their leadership and organizational skills.”
