Full-time option
The 16 month HEC MBA Full-time option has two intakes: September and January. It is divided in two phases: Fundamental and Customized.
In the Fundamental Phase, you will acquire the essential business skills and competencies that are indispensable to envisage a successful career in firms and other organizations. Courses are academically demanding and provide a solid foundation in management disciplines.
During the Customized Phase, you will tailor your MBA to your personal aspirations and professional objectives. You will choose to do either a specialization or an international exchange, and either a fieldwork project or electives. Alternatively, you can opt for a double degree program which replaces the customized phase at HEC Paris.
In addition to the MBA curriculum, HEC MBA participants have access to a range of "Certificates" offered in association with HEC Masters programs, with no additional tuition fees. Certificates are distinct degrees which do not substitute to MBA courses. The number of slots made available to MBA participants is limited and each certificate runs its own admissions process.

Admissions are managed independently by each program according to their standard admissions procedure. Candidates must be admitted by both programs. There is no guarantee that a participant already admitted or enrolled at one program will be admitted to the second program. Double degrees are available in two formats: HEC MBA + other MBA or HEC MBA + other Master's Degree.
Certificates - optional
Certificates are approximately 100 contact hours and are sector specific. Please see their dedicated web pages for further information:
Field Projects
Participants can gain new professional experience to facilitate their career change by choosing one of the four field work projects available.
International Exchange
Participants can choose to do an international exchange. There are over forty partner business schools in our worldwide network. The exchange option is selective; around forty to fifty participants go on exchange every year. Depending on the intake the exchanges take place in the fall or in the spring with different schools.
