Emerging Countries: Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarship Program - Emerging Countries

  • Study or training must be undertaken in another country or territory in which there are Rotary Clubs but not in the sponsoring Rotary country or district.
  • They must not have previously lived or studied more than 6 months in the chosen country/ have to speak, read and write the language of the chosen country (language examination).
  • Scholarships Academic-Year Ambassadorial Scholarships provide funding for one academic year of study in another country, and Multi-Year Ambassadorial Scholarships are for two years of degree-oriented study in another country. All students of any nationality looking to spend one or two years pursuing academic studies in another country may apply.
  • This award is intended to help cover round-trip transportation, tuition, fees, room and board expenses, and some educational supplies.
  • A flat grant is provided per year to be applied toward the costs of a degree program.
