HEC Ile-de-France Masters Scholarship
To support its policies in favor of students’ international mobility, the Ile-de-France region has established Ile-de-France Master’s Scholarship, intended to allow institutions of higher education in the Paris region to welcome foreign students, hailing primarily from recentralized zones of cooperation and wishing to follow a Master’s program (first and/or second year). The total number of scholarships is determined each year, based on the amount of regional funding available.
Eligibility:
The Ile-de-France Master’s Scholarships is open to students from the following nationalities: South-African, Argentinean, Brazilian, Canadian, Chilean, Hungarian, Indian, Lebanese, Malagasy, Malian, Moroccan, Mauritian, Polish, Russian, Senegalese, and Vietnamese. Bi-national candidates with French nationality will not be given priority. There is no age limit.
Selection Criteria:
Local partners (French embassies, consulates, and other representatives) preselect candidates from among the best foreign students, taking into account the quality of the student’s proposed plan of study and whether or he or she has already established contact with potential host institutions. The selection committee will also consider economic factors and will privilege candidates issuing from unfavorable economic circumstances.
Pre-selected applicants will then be considered by the regional commission, presided by Marc Lipinski, Vice-President of the Ile-de-France region counsel, in charge of higher education, research, and scientific and technical innovation.
Amount of award:
€10.100
Application Deadline:
