Anne Michaut-Denizeau received a Ph.D. in Social Sciences from Wageningen University, where she also received a M.Sc. degree in Marketing and Consumer Behavior. She also holds an agronomics engineering degree. Prior to joining HEC, she worked on innovation process methods at Unilever, which funded her PhD research. Her research expertise is in new product management and focuses on new product adoption processes, barriers to adoption and adoption facilitators. More recently she developed expertise in the field of luxury, focusing on sustainable development and entrepreneurship in luxury.

At HEC, she teaches in the Grande Ecole, MBA, Executive MBA, and Executive Education programs. Her teaching covers varied topics such as Innovation Management and Project Management as well as Luxury Marketing.

Academic Director of the Advanced Management Program in Fashion and Luxury, jointly developed with IFM and Tsinghua University, she works on developing HEC's excellence in teaching in the field of Luxury worldwide.
