Daniel Newark received an individually designed BA, MA in Economics, and Ph.D. in Organization Studies from Stanford University. His research focuses on decision-making, identity, prosocial behavior, and social influence, and has appeared in leading management and psychology journals, such as Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes and Social Psychological and Personality Science. His work has also been covered by a variety of media outlets, including Harvard Business Review , Stanford Business Magazine , Salon.com , and Men’s Health Magazine .
Prior to joining HEC, Daniel Newark was an assistant professor at the Strategic Organization Design unit at the University of Southern Denmark and a member of the Danish Institute for Advanced Study (DIAS). He has taught Masters and MBA courses in behavioral decision-making, advanced strategy and organizational theory, and strategy and management.
