Michel Safars teaches Entrepreneurship at HEC since 2002. He co-chairs the HEC's MBA Entrepreneurship track with Professor Thomas Astebro. He also teaches critical decisions making, crisis anticipation in early-stage companies, creation of technology based startups and fundamentals in Neuroeconomy.

Since 2005 Michel is the COO of INRIA-Transfert, the subsidiary of the French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control in charge of executive coaching for high-tech startups founders.
Michel SAFARS, graduate of Paris-XI, started his career with Lidaray. Entrepreneur by vocation, he founded in 1989 Mipsys, a company specialized in custom software and electronics, that he directed until 1997 when he sold it. He then created KeeBoo in the Silicon Valley and the Plateau de Saclay, a software editor of internet multimedia content, of which he is still president.
