Full-time option

The 16 month HEC MBA Program has placed itself at the forefront of business education by building a curriculum around the principles of successful leadership and by providing our participants with opportunities to develop into strong leaders. Our participants come away from their MBA experience with a heightened sense of self-awareness and relational intelligence, as well as strong confidence in their ability to lead some of the world's most powerful organizations.

Tailor your MBA to work towards achieving your personal aspirations during the customized phase. You can choose to do either an international exchange or a specialization, and either a fieldwork project or electives. Alternatively, you can opt to do a double degree program which replaces the customized phase at HEC Paris.

Courses

Participants cover the fundamentals of business; this phase is very demanding academically and provides a solid foundation in management techniques equips participants in advancing to the next stage.

Career Building & Coaching

At HEC we teach valuable tools to develop career paths and attain desired professional positions – we do so through the leadership of our Career Management Center and by engaging MBAs in the process. At four key milestones in the MBA program, you will build your core competencies with an emphasis on personal and professional development:

  • Exploration
  • Specification
  • Implementation
  • Crysallization

See Build your career for full information

Seminars

During the fundamental phase participants develop their cross-functional skills, including decision-making, negotiation and communication, in required courses and seminars.

Electives

Participants choose from around seventy electives with emphasis on either management knowledge or personal skills and development. Some electives are offered in French.

Tracks

During the second half of the program participants customize their MBA in choosing from one of four tracks which are available.

Exchange

Participants can choose to do an international exchange. There are over forty partner business schools in our worldwide network. The exchange option is selective; around forty to fifty participants go on exchange every year. Depending on the intake the exchanges take place in the fall or in the spring with different schools.

Double Degree

The HEC MBA Program has established twelve double degree programs with leading institutions across the world. Participants benefit from the expertise and resources of each institution and graduates obtain two degrees, thus entering two alumni networks. Admissions are managed independently by each program according to their standard admissions procedure. Candidates must be admitted by both programs. There is no guarantee that a participant already admitted or enrolled at one program will be admitted to the second program. Double degrees are available in two formats: HEC MBA + other MBA or HEC MBA + other Master's Degree.

Certificates

In association with the Grande Ecole and Specialized Masters programs, MBA participants have the opportunity to complete certificate programs. Certificates are approximately 100 contact hours and are sector specific.

Field Projects

Participants can gain new professional experience to facilitate their career change by choosing one of the four field work projects available.
