I viewed an MBA as an opportunity to look back at what I'd done so far in my career - what I did right, what I did wrong - and project myself into the future. I think I'm still far from having a good perspective on the entirety of what I'm learning right now, but I wake up every day thinking that I made a good choice ...

When I came to HEC, I was really looking for where to go next in my life and my career. After exploring a wide range of options, I decided that I wanted to build on my previous experience and leverage my experience in the Entrepreneurship Club and the Business Plan Workshop. It would have been easy for me to stay in the US, but I'm so glad I decided to take advantage of the opportunity to come to HEC Paris. Now that I'm here, I feel very confident that I made the right decision. The students and faculty are absolutely wonderful. I love that it's easy to integrate and immerse yourself, because there is no language barrier on campus, and I also get to experience France. I would never be able to do an MBA in French, but I love doing an MBA in France! ....

It was a difficult decision for us to come here: my partner and I both had rewarding careers that we had to put on hold, but we decided that it was now or never, and this was really the right time for us to do this together. We were attracted by the potential for career progression at HEC, by the campus life, and by the presence of other families and partners......
