A $2.9 billion company employing 8,500 people in 25 countries, Coty Inc. has created a global brand portfolio spanning the core categories of fragrance, color cosmetics and skincare in the prestige and broad distribution sectors.  Coty derives its outstanding growth from two divisions, beauty which accounts for 45% of sales, and prestige which accounts for 55%.  Since 2001, Coty has more than doubled the size of its business and has become the largest fragrance company in the world.

In line with Coty's principles, the New York-based company will sponsor a scholarship per graduating class of the HEC MBA Program. The objectives of the Coty scholarship are to foster innovation, ambition, and creativity among the recipients and, in turn, within the entire MBA community.

Eligibility:
Recipients of the Coty Scholarship are top-caliber candidates who have been admitted to the HEC MBA program and can demonstrate:

  • Academic Excellence,
  • Professional Accomplishments,
  • Leadership potential, involving the ability to take initiative, guide; provide direction, foster teamwork,
  • An understanding of consumer goods industry/trends and an affinity for the beauty and fashion industry,
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact successfully in a multicultural environment,
  • Creative and innovative thinking.

Selection Criteria: 
Each candidate will be asked to prepare a case study to demonstrate market knowledge as well as creativity and innovation.

€ 10,000

One award for the September intake
