In its drive to promote global excellence, Alcatel offers scholarships to Chinese citizens who have a telecommunication or software engineering background.
Eligibility:
Chinese participants with an engineering background or experience in telecommunications or high-technology.
Selection Criteria:
Interview: Short-listed candidates will be asked to an interview in Asia with an Alcatel representative. This is a need-based award, so preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate financial need. The HEC Alcatel scholars must be present for one-day events organized by Alcatel during the MBA Program and to do an internship with Alcatel during the summer break.
Essays: Address the following three topics in a 500-word essay:
- Why you want to undertake an MBA at HEC?
- What you plan to do to contribute to the future development of Asia following graduation?
- Why you should be selected for the Alcatel scholarship.
Personal Financial Statement:
Applicants must submit a detailed description of their financial circumstances as well as a cash-flow forecast for the 16-month duration of the MBA program.
