The Senegalese economy continues to take advantage of its ambitious economic reform program launched in 1994, while taking measures to ensure greater regional integration. With a strong business culture, especially within its thriving private sector, the Republic of Senegal needs trained leaders to take the country to the next level of development.
To build upon its economic foundations, the Senegalese government has created the HEC MBA Senegal Scholarships, designed to provide financial support to exceptional Senegalese nationals.

Selection Criteria:
Recipients of the Senegal Scholarships are high-quality candidates who meet the HEC MBA standard selection criteria and have demonstrated:
- Academic achievements
- Knowledge of management
- Leadership
- Professional business experience
Essay Question:
Write a 1,500-word essay on the importance of attracting foreign investment to Senegal that obtains a long-term economic benefit for the local economy.
Personal Financial Statement:
Applicants must submit a detailed description of their financial circumstances as well as a cash-flow forecast for the 16-month duration at HEC.
