An emphasis on cooperation over competitiveness

I first chose HEC for the length of the program and for the excellent recognition of HEC in Europe, thanks to the very powerful alumni network. I also value the dynamism of the institution, up 50 slots in the rankings over the past 5 years. Then came the feeling that there seemed to be something different about studying at HEC. It is an international program, indeed, with 57 different nationalities, and the emphasis is put on cooperation over competitiveness. 

Today, I realize that the HEC MBA really stands out as an extroardinary human experience. Interactions between participants are rooted in a genuine spirit of collectiveness, trust, and respect - and fun! This collaborative atmosphere is the real distinctiveness of the program: at HEC, I did not just build a network; I did not just gain colleagues or mates; I made lifelong friends!
